The Noble Horse Theatre was erected in 1871 as a horse & carriage stable. This building was one of the first structures to be rebuilt after the great Chicago Fire. From 1922 unti 1972 the site was named "Lakeshore Stables." Due to the combined efforts of Noble Horse, the City of Chicago, and friends of the stable, the building has been renovated and restored to its former glory.
