Q. Where is Noble Horse?
A. Noble Horse is located downtown Chicago at 1410 N Orleans, (locally known as Old Town.). This riding hall is close to tourist attractions such as Michigan Avenue, Museums, Second City, and Lincoln Park Zoo.

Q. How can I purchase tickets?
A. Tickets are available by calling the theatre’s box office at 312-266-7878. Tickets may also be purchased through the internet at www.ticketweb.com. Tickets may be available at the door, but please phone ahead to ensure availability of tickets.

Q. Is this a live performance?
A. The shows feature live horses and their riders. The horses reside here in this historic 1871 stable.

Q. How do I get to Noble Horse Theatre?
A. Noble Horse Theatre is located at 1410 N Orleans St. in Chicago. This is in Chicago’s Old Town and is 2 blocks south of North Ave and 8 blocks off the lakefront on Schiller St. The theatre is a mile and a half east of 90/94 (North Ave Exit). To exit from Lakeshore Dr, use the Lasalle/North Ave exit. Check out our location page for directions.

Q. I would like to bring a group. Are special rates available for large groups?
A. Group rates are available. Please call our box office at 312-266-7878 for specific inquiries.

Q. Are all shows served with a meal?
A. Dinner is optional with evening performances and all shows are BYOB. Lunches can be served for groups over 30. There is a snack counter available with soft drinks and snacks.

Q. Can I have my birthday party at Noble Horse?
A. Yes. There are a number of different ways to have a special event here at Noble Horse Theatre. Noble Horse Theatre offers special group rates and has private party areas. Call 312-266-7878 for details.

Q. What type of seating is available?
A. The theatre offers tiered open seating in our padded theatre style chairs. There are no obstructions, so all seats are excellent. Castle style long tables are made of antique birchwood. Inquire about VIP seating when purchasing tickets. The horses perform indoor year round in this 300-seat, handicapped accessible and temperature controlled setting

Q. How long are the shows?
A. Matinee shows are 60 minutes. Evening shows are 75 minutes. Audiences are invited to meet and pet the horses after each show. Apples and carrots are acceptable treats to feed the horses. Noble Horse offers rides in the gypsy wagon and on the trick horses after the show.

Q. Is parking available?
A. Free parking is available for buses. There are also approximately 25 parking spaces in our parking lot which are first come, first serve. There is a convenient, nominally priced city lot one block north of the theatre on Sedgwick.

Q. Is Noble Horse by other Chicago tourist destinations?
A. Noble Horse Theatre is blocks from Second City, The Chicago Historical Society, Newberry Library and the Lincoln Park zoo. We are only a short distance away from the Magnificent mile.

Q: Are cameras allowed?
A: Flash photography is allowed. Video taping is not.

Q. Do you offer horse lessons or boarding to the public?
A. Noble Horse offers lessons to intermediate and advanced riders. There is also an internship program where adults and teenagers learn the process of caring for and riding horses. Noble Horse does not accept outside horses for boarding.

Q. Is this an outdoor or indoor performance?
A. The horses perform indoor year round in this 300 seat, handicapped accessible and climate controlled theatre.

Q: Does Noble Horse offer food and beverages?
A: To purchase dinner for the evening shows, you must book in advance. However, Noble Horse does offer a concession stand with drinks and snacks. Noble Horse does offer pizza parties. All performances are BYOB.

Q: What types of horses are used in the shows?
A: In the productions, Andalusians, Lipizzans, Thoroughbreds, Arabians, Quarter horses, and draft crosses are used.

Q. I am allergic to horses. Will viewing the performance agitate these allergies?
A. Due to the nature of the environment, it is not recommended for those with severe allergies to horses, hay, or other equine related items to attend this performance without doctor’s clearance.

Q. Is the theatre open year round?
A. We are open year round in our climate controlled theatre. We offer three shows during the year: Quadrille, Nutcracker, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
